Do you use S&W straight or mixed?

I've read threads where some have mixed products together or cut them with water.
Like S&W mixed with S&G.
Is mixing the best of both worlds or is it a compromise?

Thanks,
Suzanna

I know that some folks use a blend, but I don't mix them because I prefer to use S & W for its cleaning properties, then follow with S & G. I'd rather spend the little extra time required to do a "two step", than risk swirls or scratches by not removing all the dust before I shine it up with the S & W.

Ditto! S&W is one of god's gifts to detailing, and I care not to mess with perfection.

Hi, Norah! :)

The only cutting I would suggest is Steve who owns Poorboys suggest
cutting Spray and Wipe 1:1 with water for a clay lube. I think Spray and
Wipe has a little much lubricity to used uncut for an effective clay lube.
To much lubricity would keep the clay from picking up the dirt that you
are trying to pick up. You can check with Steve on this, I am sure that is
his suggestion for the clay lube mix ratio.

it really depends on what you are trying to achieve....for claying I would mix it 1:1 as said by belcherm58, I do know detailers that also cut it for use as a final wipe down before delivery of a vehicle, and I know that awd330 has about 2-3 different mixtures, some with S&G for different uses. :)
As RTexasF said, I'll take my S&W straight up thank you. ;)
