Do you really have to wait 24hr between coats of BFII??

I didnt get to the 'wax' until 8pm or so!!!! Do I really need to wait till late tomorow evening to do the second coat... or would it be ok if I did it a bit after noon or earlier in the day like 2 or 3???

I'd like to get 3 coats on... but I'm not sure how long I'm goin to have this garage space! I might loose it tomorow night for all I know and I want to at least get the second coat on before that happens :)

I wouldnt mind the waiting except everyone is out of town and I kind of moved all the garage shelving storage units to the other side.. in front of and behind the prized 66 stingray vette... and I'd like to have everything back to normal before they get home. I'd go ahead and move them but then theres no way I'd be able to wax the passenger side of the car... you can't even walk through there hardly with the shelving back in place!

anyways.. sorry for rambling... if anyone has an answer to the original question before I branched off into lala land lol

I think 18 hrs will be fine, Ive done it in less without any noticable problem....;)

I think you'll be ok. Most people wait the 24 hours just because it's the same time the next day, because that's when they are free. If it's warm, and humidity is low (if you're in Florida, you're SOL, but in Tucson, you're good to go), then I would think the 12 hours is probably even long enough.

Up here in the Pacific Northwest, I pretty much have to wait 24 hours.
