Do You Know How to Remove Chewing Gum from Leather Seats?

Hi to everybody



Today has come a customer asking if I could remove a chewing gum from his leather seat.



The accident was 15 days ago. The owner tried to remove it and unfortunately he spreaded the gum. Now the thickness is almost nothing but very spreaded.





What can I do??

Most citrus based products will dissolve the gum. The more concentrated, the better...



Dwell time, with agitation, is important.

I am not sure if any of my chemicals is citrus based. I´d say non of them.



May I use vinegar, as it is an acid like citrus (lemon)?



May I use pure lemon juice?

I would use ice to freeze the gum, the LIGHTLY scrape to remove. A spatula from the kitchen will scrape without damaging.
