I've been meaning to get a GoPro for my motorcycle. Someone pulls out or cuts me off almost daily on the motorcycle and having video proof would be nice.

I voted "Likely Get One"

I have one and ever since I got it nothing even close has happened which I guess is a good thing.

I am eyeing a Gopro, especially when I head back to Trinidad. It is good to have video evidence being a foreigner living in another country.

I think its a great idea I would love to get one, BUT I dont want to run the power wire up over the dash I hate extra wires running around the dash.

Try and get creative. My wire goes along the headliner, down the A-pillar trim, through the passenger door seal, under the glove box, to my 12V outlet. Completely hidden and very easy to do.

It'd be labor intensive but im sure theres a way to run it under the A pillar, into the headliner and have it pop out right behind the mirror. If i was gonna do it, thats how it would have to be, which is why i javent done it yet.

You can install it just like SYMAWD without having to remove any panels either. Just push the wire between the gap or use a flathead with electrical tape wrapped around the head to gently push the wire into the gap.

No, but I'm thinking about one. Speaking of... what was this chick thinking???

I power my radar detector from the power provided to my mirror. Many of the newer vehicles have either a high beam dimmer module or a mirror that dims when someone comes up behind you. Wonder if this power source couldn't be used where available?

No ghetto install here. My buddy sells and makes his own install kits that piggy back a fuse, simple plug and play.

BMW is coming up with a new system eliminating outside mirrors, replacing them with cameras, so that you can look at your rear mirror and see live traffic on both sides of your car without looking to the right or the left.
