Do New England auto brushes NOT scratch paint?

I've been looking for a simple solution to cleaning the crevices between windows and body and molding. I discovered the brush listed above on ********.com. I'm assuming it's similar to Griot's horsehair brush. My questions is . . . Do they scratch your paint? I find it hard to believe that they won't put some form of scratch or swirl in your paint.

Thx

baker999 - Well, not sure about that brand, but the Griot's ones don't scratch the paint on my clearcoated cars (I've checked under magnification) unless I mess up (and yes, that does happen). I find the smaller ones perfect for cleaning nooks and crannies (couldn't get by without them!), and I use the regular one on MOST of my cars. You DO have to be careful with it, though. It's tempting to rub too hard (just BARELY "sweep" the surface), not rinse it often enough (like after EVERY pass), etc. It's NOT the MOST gentle way to clean, but it's not all that bad either. Note that if your car's too dirty, most ANYTHING is gonna induce some marring. Some of us like them, others call it "scratch-o-matic", so experiences vary.

Make SURE it's 100% natural bristles, so many of the brushes out there have some nylon ones mixed in.
