Do I really need The Edge Conditioning Brush?

Hey guys, I'm thinking in changing to the edge 2k sistem and I was wondering if I really need to buy the conditioning brush to clean the pads or if I can get the same result with a tooth brush for instance.

That Edge brush is much larger and stiffer than a toothbrush. That being said--I think you'd be fine with a stiff toothbrush.

Mike P uses the Meguiar's detail brush to clean pads. Works just fine.

I use a fingernail cleaning brush to dress the pads..not to stiff..not to limp...seems just right....

the fingernail brush is the best money spent..lol..it has many uses....

I use a VIKING Nylon brush, the one that comes in their 3-piece detail brush set (can't find a use for the other two though...). Perfect size and bristle stiffness.

I happen to have the meguiars triple duty detail brush, I think I'll give it a try :2thumbs:



No point in wasting good money that I can spend on really usefull stuff.
