Do I Need ZAIO After PO85RD?

Just finished polishing the MDX with 106ff/PO85RD will using ZAIO before I apply z5/z2/CS improve the finish at all?

I know using ZAIO will ensure a nice clean finish free of any oils left behind by PO85 but will it improve depth and shine?

Thanx

What color is it? If its a dark: black, red, ect. I would use the ZAIO. IMO after 106ff I like what the ZAIO does especially an the darker colors. Plus for extended durability, its nice to start with a very clean base (as you said.)

In the past when I used 085 after 106ff, I could not tell a difference in appearance of the paint, what did you think?

I agree with Bryan, ZAIO looks really good on darker colors. Reminds me of how Prime Carnauba looks. Otherwise, I think you can use Z6 after 085 and be good to go with Z2/5.

the truck is silver

I used 106ff on a orange pad to remove light swirls and then finished with 85 and a white pad

I saw a SLIGHT differance but I wanted the best possible finish before applying my LSP

Hit your front quarters -one with ZAIO, and the other with Prime and go with the one that looks best in your eyes. IMHO, these are the 'go to' finishing polishes on silver paint.

If your LSP is going to be Zaino, then I'd go ZAIO hands down.

If you're planning another route on your LSP I'd try both to see which you like best.

-Looking forward to seeing your final results.

If you want max depth, RMG or Poli-Seal would work best but ZAIO will be pretty close and work better under Z2/5.
