Do i need to use the PC?

i know this may be a stupid question but i never used UPC/UPP or PBC/EX and i was wondering if is HAVE to use a PC for the cleaning and/or sealant step?

the reason i ask is because i am doing a brand new car that has no significant swirls that i need to remove. so is it possible to clean by hand and also apply the sealant by hand?

i don't really like the idea to use a maschine on the paint.

any thoughts?

If you are going to apply just a sealent or a carnuba topping most people here apply by hand.
The PC makes it easier... but it is not essential, there are many here who do all their work by hand :bow

When you want to start removing swirls it definately helps.

IMO, the only time you need a PC is for swirl removal. Even that can be done by hand, but it is a lot of work.

Hmmm I like using my PC for everything. Not pastes though! I love that sucker. I should do more coats by hand, but machine is so fun. :D
 
i use the pc for everything im too spoiled to apply by hand anymore. also it makes my products go on evenly and i use alot less also
 
I use a PC for everything except taking products off. This makes it easy to apply the thin, even layers that most sealant products seem to require.

You can manage without a PC but using a PC give me results that far outweigh my abilities.
