Do i have to use Z-FX?

Well my car is getting its usual winter detail over this next week. Its going to be parked the entire time, however long it takes me to finish. I was planning on doing the usual Z-PC, Z-AIO, Z-5, and then two layers of Z-2 followed by Z-CS and Z-8. Now i just noticed that i am out of Z-FX, so is there any way i can skip using it? Will a base coat of Z-AIO take its place in any way?

I was wondering if i applied just one coat a day (i have the time to do, like i said its parked while im up here) then if i could skip Z-FX also. Or is there other stuff that Z-FX does other than just accelerating the curing time? Can i still layer the polishes if i wait a day or so in between coats?

The Zaino website is full of very detailed directions, but I believe you can put on a coat of ZAIO and one coat of Z5 in the same day without ZFX. Each additional coat would need a 12-24 hour cure time without ZFX.

I have recently found out that ZFX makes a huge difference in durability, shine and a "armor like feeling". It's hard to put into words but in my opinion it's worth it. I'm in the middle of a long term test but I'm not reporting results until some of the products start failing. Do you have to use ZFX, NO. But, if you test the the product as I have, you'll see it is definitely worth it. I was very much happy when I didn't have to "buy" ZFX with the advent of ZAIO. However, after testing it I wont use Zaino without ZFX. It is worth the extra effort and expense.
