Do You See An Improvement In The Finish When Topping Z2 With ZCS?

Just finished my 06 Silver MDX with the following

z7

106ff/orange pad

po85rd/white pad

ZAIO

z5x2

z2x1

Will topping the finish with ZCS make any kind of improvement?

Thanx

I think it does but I would suggest waiting until after it's first wash. Give the Z5/2 some time to fully cure and crosslink. My ZCS applications after a wash take maybe 15 minutes as it goes on like a QD.

I find that on my NBM CS seems to add gloss and wetness. However on a lighter color it might be harder to notice. Also when paint is polished to a high gloss it makes it more difficult to notice differences.

When I apply CS I notice a little more gloss after application. It mostly locks in the look, but when you add Z-8 the following day, it's a different story!

yeah I decided to apply z8 and drive the truck a week then apply cs after my first wash

But I tell you what wow is the truck gleaming, I have tried alot of products and nothing gives me the "blinding" shine like zaino.

I have been using Z8 & CS myself & I agree totally.

I am 100% sold on Zaino (& I've tried every product known to man at one time or another). My black truck (06 Ford Escape Hybrid) gets more comments on the appearance than anything I have ever driven (& I have had a TON of vehicles over the years) & it's all thanks to Zaino.

I have not seen any difference between using z2 alone or topping with CS. I did both of my cars several months ago and have been monitoring them wash to wash. They are both red. I did my 2006 330i with zaio,z5,z5,z2 and my 2002 325xi with zaio,z5,z5,z2,cs. As an experiment I also did my 1997 328i (hellrot) with zaio,cs. They only difference I've noticed is the 97 is looking like water is not beading as well on it after about 3 months. This may be somewhat of an unfair comparison since it spends a little more time out in the sun than the other 2.

Ultimately, my conclusion so far is the CS isn't worth the money I spent on it. That opinion may change over the next few months if I start noticing a difference but by that time I'll be doing my winter prep so it probably won't matter. I may run this same experiment through the winter since we get some major salt put down here.
