Distributing Flyers

How do you guys go about putting out flyers? I want to distribute them to houses, but since it's illegal to put them in mailboxes, I've come up with only a couple of ideas.



One is to put them in a cheap plastic bag ($10 for 1000 on ebay), rolled up and put them on the hooks that a lot of mailboxes have for newspapers and the like. The other is to actually go up to the door of each house, and either cut them like door hangers, or use a bit of scotch tape on each one to tape them on the door.



What works best for you guys? It seems like it would take so much longer to actually go up to the door of each house than to find a creative way to leave them on the mailbox.

Get some quality door hangers made up. I have never had a good return from flyers or hangers,however, if you put enough out you should get a few calls.

mailbox stuffing is illegal just so you know...you cant put things in mailboxes without it being mailed via postage

Yeah, that's what I said. That it IS illegal to put them in mailboxes.
