Diluting - what do you do?

What kind of water do you use for dilution?

So, I was just reading a post by Richard (97F1504x4) in another thread about how he uses distilled water exclusively to dilute his products. I use several products which come concentrated which I then dilute for use. I really like using products that are sold in a concentrate because I can dilute them to the strength I like for a particular use and therefore the product becomes more flexible.

Anyway, I dilute only using distilled water because I am concerned about the additives in tap water (ex. fluoride) effecting the cleaning power of the product. I don't have hard water, but if I did I would be concerned about the minerals effecting the foaming of the diluted product as well.

So, I'm just curious how many DC members use distilled water and who uses it straight from the tap?

Well we already know my answer but what the hey.

I use Distilled water. Tap/City water is hard as a rock and has to many minerals and chlorine in it.

Straight from the tap-- well water for me. I haven't seen any issues from diluting this wat with Simple Green, Woolite, and like.
