diluting lexol leather conditioner?

First I want to say I'm not trying to be cheap or anything (it doesn't matter if I use it full strength or not since we only have one car in the family that has leather and I only condition once every few months) but I find Lexol a pretty thick liquid and when I use it the spray bottle doesn't spray a fine mist of the conditioner but instead it comes out as bigger droplets. And I know the sprayer can spray a mist and it's not clogged. So I was wondering if I can dilute it with water to thin it down just enough to make it mist? Or is this a bad idea and I should stick with how it works now?

I think your sprayer might be bad :nixweiss. I wouldn't recommend diluting it. To get around applying too much I would spray drops on a terry applicator and apply that way. My sprayer can mist and I still do this.

I spray it on the leather and spread with a damp terry applicator. The water on the applicator probably helps dilute it some.

I've never tried to make a mist with it.. I think it comes out as a stream, which works for me. Just spray some on the leather and spread it around.
