Diluting FK425?

Recently, due to diminished supply I diluted my FK425 1-1 with water. Seems to work just fine, still glosses up and very slick but wondering if this is the right thing to do?

i wouldn't dilute it, if you read the label it says RTU (ready to use) and has no mention of doing so...

I diluted it will distilled water and it seems to work fine. I am paranoid about covering every mm of my car with product, so diluting it seemed to be a good idea.

well i'm inclined not to dilute if i have enough supply. as mentioned, did it in a pinch as i was awfully low. but it did interest me that the dilution didn't seem to diminish its properties a noticeable amount.

i will say 425 is much more forgiving streaking-wise than the new Optimum Detailer.

well l once diluted it because it was short but would advise you to follow the instructions. its better this way

IIRC the FK425 that people buy from FinishKare USA is diluted from a concentrate prior to sale (I've heard it's possible to buy it in *undiluted* form but I've never looked into it). So diluting it a little more shouldn't hurt much, it'll probably just diminish the lubricity and protection a little.

You can drink half a bottle of dark beer and then top it off with water and have another "full bottle" but, it sure won't taste the same.......

I wouldn't expect the results to be the same either with non-concentrates.........
