Digital Camera's

I was looking at the Olympus D-435. Anyone here used this digital camera? I'm shopping around for a birthday present and I'm looking to upgrade from our current camera. Any feedback?

We really can't spend more than around $150. Also I was looking at Canon's and Nikon's.
 
A little above your price range but I love my cannon a610. Sean and I both have it. Couple that with a 512 card and your set for about 230.

Spend the $200 and get the A610...One of my best purchases (of all time) made...

I have a fuji S5100, but thats alittle out of your price range you gave too. Canon makes many fine cameras, They are the "go to" for any kind of camera, can't go wrong.

I too recommend the Canon. The A520 can be had for a song now as well. It's the model that preceded the 610, but has all the features, just fewer megapixels. The Canon's will usually have more usable features than most of their competitors, so I would give Canon the edge.
 
pretty much my choices narrowed too Canon A430, A520, & Olympus D-435. We don't use our camera a whole lot now, but if i'm gonna upgrade I want it to be worth while. I just want to keep our budget and get the bast bang for my buck. I know the D-435 is lacking in some areas, but my brother has one and loves it. The pictures I see are great.

lol I have now narrowed my choices to the Canon series. A430, A520, & A530. If I want to spend more it wouls be the A530, but i'm stuck between the A430, & A520. I can get them for about the same price.
 
Hhmmm.... I was pretty much set to get the A530, but the A620 or even the A610 are they way to go. The damn cost just keeps rising.
 
A620 I love it I even printed out a 13x19 picture of a boxter that I took with it. Came out perfect
