Diffrence between SIP and IP

I am a little confused. I've been reading conflicting things, some sources say that SIP has stronger cut (6/10) than IP, others say IP is stronger than SIP. Menzerna chart says that they are the same as far as cut goes. So?

SIP is for ceramiclear coats, which are typically harder.

IP is better suited for non-ceramiclear coats.

SIP can become a real pain on soft/medium clear coats if you're not careful.

Do you mean that it will cut too fast, or not finish down good?

Since it's Ceramiclear rated, it's likely to induce marring on softer clears. You could stick with SIP on a soft/medium clear, but you'd want to possibly try it with a CCS white pad instead of orange.
