Difference between Meguiars Polishes

I've been using Meguiars #9 for a while now, but even with the PC and the CMA yellow cutting pad, I'm not making a dent. I did a search, but didn't find a consolidated answer to the below:

I'd like to move up to a harsher Meguiars polish, but looking at their website I'm not sure what to look for! The possibilities are:

Body Shop Professional Swirl Free Polish

Speed Glaze

Body Shop Professional Dual Action Cleaner/Polish

Does anyone have much experience with these? The car I'm working on is not mine, so I'd rather err on the side of caution rather than go really aggressive.

Also, should I try the CMA wool pad with #9 or one of the others above?

Thanks in advance...

We also got no results with #9 via pc, except for gloss enhancement. I recommend trying 3M SMR, which we got awesome results with or meguiars DA Cleaner polish, no need for wool pad imo.

It's been awhile since I've used any of the Meguires abrasives other than the light polish #7 but in the past I recall using their #2 Mirror Glaze Fine Cut for a bit more umph when #9 wouldn't quite get the job done.

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm leaning towards the DA CP if I can find it anywhere, although I'm a bit hesitant about how aggressive it is.

The DA polish is about the same as 3M Finesse-It I think. I have not used it, but the bottle I looked at showed it as slightly more aggressive than the Hand Polish. I just got some Meguiar's heavy cut polish because I found the same as you, that #9 is really for light swirls. Gives really nice gloss, but is very very fine. Try the DA polish and then follow with #9.

I also have 3M Perfect-It and find it to be only very slightly more aggressive than #9, so don't bother with that if #9 is not working.

You picked up some Heavy Cut Polish? Wow - that's pretty harsh stuff I would believe. According to the meguiars site it can only be used with a Rotary. Don't think I'll be fooling with that stuff!

I just ordered some DACP and hopefully I'll get some good results. If anyone has any experience with this stuff I'd love to hear about it! I plan on using a yellow CMA cutting pad with my PC to apply it...
