Difference between IP / SIP?

Hello everyone, It's time for me to get some polishes and after a lot of comparisons and advice search, I've decided on the Menzerna line. It's so pricey but I guess you get what you pay for, so I expect it to all be worth it. Anyway, I was looking at the polishes on Autogeek and I want to know what the difference is between IP and SIP? Also, when would I use nano polish and when would I use micro polish? It says 106ff and the SIP are for scratch resistant coatings, does this mean that they would be too aggressive on soft clear coats that aren't very scratch resistant? Last but not least, what site do you guys buy menzerna products from?

Although they are recommended for scratch resistant cc, 106FF/SIP still work very well on the normal clear coats.

By nano polish and micro polish I assume you mean 106FF and PO85RD? If so PO85 has less cut than 106FF I believe. If you had SIP, 106FF, and PO85RD, I would use them in that order.

As far as looks go between 106 and 85, I couldn't comment as I have only used 106FF out of that trio. Depending on the level of correction required I would recommend an IPA wipedown after polishing, as I believe some people have reported some Menz polishes filling in slight marring.

Menz makes great products. Good choice. However I urge you to consider the 3M offering as well. I have been testing the Ultrafina SE product lately, and am impressed with how user friendly it is versus the Menz. I still have very limited experience with it, but so far wow what a product.
