Only reason I was asking is the products and layout seem the same as Autogeek, that's why I was wondering if they just resell for Autogeek or were like a franchise for them or something. The other site has what looks like the same layout and products as AG as well. Just curious, not putting them down or anything.
See, that cleared it up, thought they were a reseller, just that I know yahoo store fronts have same layouts and thought maybe AG had a stake in the company or something.Leyland said:They both use the Yahoo Store platform as do alot of online car care vendors, this is not proprietary to Autogeek. Header on the top, footer on the bottom, left side navigation and products in the body of the page.
They are resellers of PBMA products Pinnacle, Wolfgang and DP plus they sell alot of the other products.
Detail City was started by Dwayne McPeeks, formerly of Four Star Products, he is also the same person that created Premiumautocare.com.
He left a few months ago and now DC is owned by Troy and Sheila Armstrong. It's an independent company, no franchise. Franchises generally share the name of their parent company. Think of Subway, McDonalds....
