Do diesel cars needs special wax to resist dust in diesel emission?

My car is 1992 Mercedes 300D turbo (2.5 liter 5 cylinder turbodiesel) arctic white, 265000 miles. It is a daily driver. It is always outside. The engine is in good condition. It does not consume engine oil. It does not emit black smoke.

After one month from waxing with Turtle Wax Platinum wax, the dirt on the rear (the white is not as pure as on other panels of my car) of my car is not removed by washing.

Beading, however, lasts at least 3 months (or more probably) – with 2 ~4 times Blue Coral sealant option at machine automatic was or spray wax (EagleOne or TurtleWax) after hand wash at coin self wash bay -.

That paint didnt know it was getting a diesel engine when it was assembled. A couple coats would be better then one if your seeing some issues with dirt adhering. Also freqent dusting or QD'ing may be beneficial. As for the wand applied products, save your quarters, and use a quality QD or Spray Wax.......Also, careful with those detergents at the coin-ops. They will remove your TW sealant......(In short time)

Congrats on maintaining for over 265K miles......!!

Nah, diesels run the same waxes as gas cars. However, you might want to consider using a more durable wax on your car, espicially if you use wash bay soap. I'd highly reccomend Collinite wax, or Finish Kare #2180.
