It was quite a bit of work. Car was done for a friend of mine that was getting married that weekend. Part of the wedding gift I suppose. I worked on his wife's car a few weeks prior. Surprisingly, the Toyota paint seemed to be alot easier to work with than Honda paint... or maybe it's because I'v gotten better? In any case. Turned out great. Check out this pic

That was done using Hi-Temp's Tire Cleaner diluted 6:1. No scrubbing... just spray on and watch it do that. Pretty filthy... but neat. :)

nice job, how long did that take you to do ?

I have a black lifted Excursion(need a ladder to do the roof/hood) that I am about to get cracking on.

Not counting the breaks I took? hehe. This was about a 4-5 hr job. I'm seriously wondering if a rotary would cut down my time any. I did an expedition... no ladder. I've got good reach being 6'1" but a ladder definitely would've prevented alot of straining and probably cut down my time too. Good luck with the excursion.

.....break time....5 hrs spent so far on Exscursion. Man, black sucks !

3hrs so far today, 2hrs (interior) yesterday.

I think a rotary would cut time down especially on the corrective measure, i.e., scratch removal, swirls.

Be back later....

EXCELLENT work!

How do you like the tire cleaner? I have some here, haven't touched it yet though.

the tire cleaner is amazing. i've never had a tire cleaner remove that much grime from the tires by just spraying it on. i have a tire brush i use on them after letting it sit for about a minute. The tires always come out looking brand new and every customer has noticed that. That's pretty much the other thing they compliment on besides the shine. And the shine I have never had a customer that hasn't been blown away by the finish. :)

Thanks for the responses. :) And tonight looks like my networking has netted me 3 more jobs along with some car audio sales ;) Great last couple of weeks.

Great job. I've never used tire cleaner because I always thought it to be useless, but maybe I'll give some a try because judging by the pic its not useless.
