I spend all day dealing with those damn things. Never know what you will find. Got a whole container full of really nice all aluminum platform ladders from a Target once they were changing out there whole store to heavy steal rolling stairs with the high safety railings. Gave a bunch away but kept a 6-8-10-12 footer for my self things are awesome.

I'll admit, I'm guilty of checking out dumpsters as well. When I was 17, we found a TON of rubber tubing that we used for months ... sling shots, trying our buddy's 79 Civic to the garage ... that was funny watching him try to drive away (that was in my pre-detailing/car care OCD that I have now) ... but it was still funny.

Want to take my old range? Works perfect, but upgraded the kitchen. I can't even manage giving it away for free :(

Obviously joking since you're in Canada, but still. That's probably how you found this new tv. Sometimes it's hard to give away perfectly functioning things for free.

Robb.- I'm guessing the RCA's box was nice and clean, considering that you put it on your rear seat ;)

That's sure a great find...

Don't they have charity places in your area that people can donate stuff to? I've given lots of household/building supply stuff to the local ReStore place.

Seriously though - what do you with all this stuff?

People dont have time to drag a tv to the charity places.

It was garbage day picking tonight :)

Found vintage milk glass ceiling globe light covers, old coleman lantern, painting.

I feel bad about some of the stuff I've thrown away. I have three boys and as they get older and bigger I've had to get rid of things that they outgrow. I noticed my neighbor had his yardman do his yard every Thursday. So I approached him and asked if he wanted some old bikes I had and he happily took them. Since then, I've given him my old fridge, washer/dryer, small appliances (like a George Foreman grill I used only one time...like everyone else lol), and other things I don't use or replace. Seems like a win win for both of us, he takes all those things and I get to keep a clean backyard. He's even done my front yard for free a few times. lol.
