Well, iv'e been looking for a decent carpet cleaner/extractor the last couple months. At the moment I don't want to purchase a Mytee because its winter and.. well you know.. SLOWWW lol
Anyhow, I found this browsing craigslist last night and thought.. hmm.. so I emailed the guy and hit the hay. Got a call In the morning and he said he has a bunch of other offers but no cash (yada yada). He got it for a gift from Christmas and has no use for it, unopened, and wanted less than half of what it costs at the store. I thought about it for a few minutes, and said why not? Drove 1hr 1/2 round trip to pick it up and i'm was quite happy, but would still like some opinions. *Cliff notes below*

So did I score a Auto Detailing Bargain or waste my time and money?

Great price for that unit. Not sure how much lift it has so you might want to extract with your shop vac. I've heard good things about these units and the other Bissell products.

Couldn't find lift specs anywhere, but here are some other specs

Power Rating: 5.7 amps
Tank Capacity: ¾ gallon
Power Cord Length: 22 ft
 
Not sure about the good deal but I know of several professionals who use the Bissel Green Machine and it works GREAT (one prefers it to his professional unit in all but the nastiest applications).

 
Just thought i'd update :)

Machine works flawlessly, and i'm pretty surprised on how much extraction it can actually do. Does much more than my shop vac (like x5) and carpets dried in about an hour.

All in all, I love it and i'm glad I got it. Here is a few interior shots from a BMW X3 I finished up today for a customer :rockon
