Did I just do a stupid thing?

So I stopped by at the local Car Quest to pick up some AW along with Duragloss QD. My car had 3 days worth of dust and and it sprinled the other night, so it had noticeable dust/water marks. Given I couldn't get it completely swirl-free during last polishing session, I decoded to try to quick detail it. I used few MF towels. At the end it looked ok to me, but then what I know.

Was it stupid idea? Did I introduce few more swirls?:hm
 
so you're asking if using DG FC&S and MF towels would create swirls on your dusty car? it depends on the amount of dust and how careful you were. the amount of QD you sprayed on prior to wiping would also change the effectiveness.
