Did email Notifications Change?

Just One More Coat
All of a sudden I'm getting emails on threads I've posted / subscribed to. This is a feature that I have turned off, because I get to much email. One less thing to sort threw.

Why am I getting them now? I've not changed anything in my settings.

This is from AG (just helped someone to do this last night) but it is almost exactly the same for Autopia

You will also need to edit your existing subscriptions (quick links->subscribed threads) and either change the notification option or unsubscribe if you so desire.
 
Thanks I had changed it to "no email notification" but that didn't seem to stop it. The strange thing about this is, I didn't change anything when it started up again

I've done this and I am still getting emails about threads I've posted on

I sent them to you and I am still getting email notification on some threads I've posted on
 
Dave,

1. Go to User CP
2. Under: Subscribed Threads - click on List Subscriptions
3. Make sure all the Notifications on the right side are set to "No notification" The easiest is to click the box at the top of the list and select them all. But you will need to do this for every page of subscriptions.

Thanks Tony, I'm telling something changed on this site right before 2/15. I hadn't received a single email about a thread then all of a sudden they started coming in for no reason
 
I'm not a member of AG, but I have browsed there and after that I started getting emails from Griots.

If you visit browser tools, options, privacy, check the option, " tell websites I do not want to be tracked".

Thanks I just checked it off. I had the same thing happen with my business email. I was surfing on a trade show site and then started getting all kinds of emails for the show. I had not put my email on that site any where.
