DG survey

Hi guys was curious as to what kind of durability you have been noticing or would expect on the following DG combos. consider the weather in the Northeast for you answer. thanks for all of your input.

601+ 105

101+ 105

Flatstick...I did my truck in late August with 105 and it still looking great and still beading strong...I used AW twice in that time period....I only washed the truck 2-3 times this winter

I have done cars with the 101 and 105 combo and see them daily at work and they look great...to me thats a nice combo..it will be my spring combo...very wet look...

I did my hood in Sept I believe with the danase speed glaze and 105 to see how it looked...it still looks close to when I did it...and it looks good....

I am sold on the DG products..tried alot of the high priced stuff and no comparison....the only product I do want to try is Jeff's and the zaino CS after more reviews...

I would like to see what CS does with 105...

Thanks for your take on the products. they have a nice look to them and I may use them on a few details this year. guess I was trying to see what to expect durability wise on a customer's car who does not use AW. I figured that the 101+ 105 combo would be in the 3-4 month range and the 601+ 105 might get into the 4-5 month range in my neck of the woods. I have some large vans that I do and 101+ 105 might be the ticket . JW makes some great stuff that is easy to use and goes a long way. very durable and a nice look to it. you will like their products. the secret is to use a lot less than you think you might need to :secret is it safe to say you are letting the 101 cure on the paint for 30 minutes before removing it ?

Flatstick...the 101 has some micro abrasives...sorta like all the newer type AIO's coming out now...I use a finishing pad to apply it...have a beer...buff it off...then apply the 105..by hand and wait till it hazes like the 101 did..and buff it off....

the 101 is a great cleaner..better than klasse AIO ..to me anyways...and it does polish out to a nice gloss finish..gives a real wet look...and 105 just adds the frosting on the cake..

there is a post on AG that was done with 101 and 105..the OP PM'D me about DG and I told him this combo...it came out very nice..super wet looking...OP was Truls..look at his car...very nice..I love this combo...wish i tried it on my truck first..

I happened upon this playing with a friends car after polishing tried 101 after..it ramped the gloss up abit..then did 105..next day was something to see...it was like it Morphed over nite..so now thats my go to combo...

Thanks for your advice, seems like a nice combo to use. used it a little on one of my rides and it was very user friendly and looked good. will have to check out that post on AG. take it easy, have a good day :bigups

I applied 601 + 105 + 105 12 hours later + AW 12 hours later to one of our own personal vehicles in September so I could keep a better eye on how its working out. This vehicle is kept outside 100% of the time in a dirty / dusty environment. This vehicle has been washed every 3 to 5 weeks with Duragloss car wash soap and a couple times via ONR in between. After drying, it's usually followed up with a wipe down of DG FCS (Fast Clean & shine). This vehicle was just washed again the a few days ago and there are no signs of degradation in the protection from what I can tell. After a thorough wash + dry + FCS wipedown, this vehicle still looks stunning for what it is and the abuse it receives. I don't know how long I want to continue this test, but it's now been close to ~6 months and DG products have definitely left me impressed in terms of price / performance / eye candy.
