DG AW with flakes?

depends on your paint. I have a dark blue metallic paint (obviously). It brings out the flake and make my paint look like sand-paper in direct light. It does this by darkening the paint a little. The flake on my gf's light blue car is not as pronounced b/c it darkens her paint too much. Just try it an see. AW is only $8.

I haven't seen any negitive affects on the mettalic paints I have used it on. Light blue, dark blue, med red, light tan. I use it after every wash, too. No muting.

I found a pic of my light blue ranger with only AW on it. The flake looks good:nixweiss

A little DWG paste wax and AW I think:idea

It surprisingly (as a wax) seems to make flakes pop. I use it on my Platinum Grey Metallic VW GLI and it looks absolutely amazing. There is little to no muting going on and it just makes everything shimmer.

not certain but don't think AW is a wax. more of a light spray sealant. i do like it as a topper over dwg and upgp. makes my metallic silver flake very wet and glistening.

also works very well on windows--at least as good as rain-x

AW works great on my metallic paint (medium gray). I just used some of it yesterday and caught myself staring at my car this morning.
