What type of pads you need depends on the backing plate you have. What size is it? what type is it?...hook and loop? Then choose your pads according to cut, size and type. There arent any specific pads for the 849. Nice rotary BTW, you will enjoy it for many years to come. Those things are workhorses! A little heavy at first but you get used to it.
