Detailing (wax removal) brush?

I'm tyring to find the "horse hair" brushes as discribed in the articles... but so far all i've been able to find is:

Nylon hair

Boar Hair/Hog Hair



i'm looking to take the Wax/sealent out of cracks and crevises in the body panels...

are these other hairs fine... or should i keep looking to find the Horse hair?

I have a boar's hair brush for washing my wheels. That's all it's used for. For cracks and crevices, I'm able to use an old credit card wrapped in a MF with success.



If you plan to use a hair type tool for crevices, I think boar's hair will be fine. Personally, I'm a little on edge about using hair tools on my paint.
 
Many (most) synthetic brushes will mar paint. I do use them to remove dried wax from textured plastic.



Seen plenty of long bristle wash brushes in boar/hog hair but I've never seen a short, stiff bristle detailing brush. Short bristle horse hair brushes are pretty common.



The little brushes work great. I always flood the spot with QD to lube the surface and soften up the residue.

well, i'm ordering everything from both the Autopia store and superiorcarcare.net... and neither of them have horse hair anything.



Do Pepboys/Autozone/Walmart have any horse hair brushes, does anyone know?



a CC wraped in MF is a great idea... but i have a few sections that i need to use hiar/bristles to take the wax/sealent out of.
 
yeah, i went through them all and thats where i came up with the hog/boar hair and nylon hair...



when they just say "natural", i dont know what the means :o
 
I have both of the detailing brushes from the Autopia store and they are excellent. Great quality for the price..:xyxthumbs
