what kind of services do you guys offer? with ball parks of how much

im thinking of actually going and doing this legit and im looking for idea's on what services you guys do and how you guys break it down

all i've ever done is charge for materials and a little extra on the side id like a little insight thanks for the help

You should get some advice here but I would go to craigslist to see what other detailers are charging (many list on craigslist) or just call other detailers as potential clients to see what they charge. This will give you an idea on the competition if you want to compete for business. Every area has different expectations. For example, many guys want $40 to $50 per hour but you have to be good with a reputation sometimes to get this. In our area, most detailers cannot get more than $25 to $30/hr (typical) for mini-details (wash, wax, maybe a quick all-in-one)
 
whatever the customer wants done is the most important thing to me. That said, i do not do packages or go by a basic wash, then a deluxe wash, etc.
