Detailing is a Curse I Tell Ya!

Just One More Coat
The wife asked early in the week what plans I had for the weekend. Thinking,:idea she wants to go see her Mom and drag me along....wrong, she wants to invite her sister to come up. Well OK that's good with me, they talk and look at ad's all weekend leaving me alone in the man cave.

Then she says that her sister said her SUV needs some TLC. Its a Explorer the size of a condo IMO:huh:

In addition I don't charge family members, well not in cash:D

I would like to know one other hobby / passion for doing something that you can call on that person. And feel like they will just preform that duty for free.

Detailing is one those...Darn-it

Would be happy to do it, then we could go eat lobster on you!:rofl

Deal.

Bring the rotary.

Had to add the pic so gearhead could drool on his keyboard after reading the thread.

I get the same whne it comes to anything thats is AV realted, I've installed alot of TV's, stereos, dvds and cable boxes for my family.

I tell them I don't want there money but they seem to stick it somewhere and I find it later. To be honest I don't charge family but good friends I charge $50.00. Where are they going to get there vehicle washed, clayed, polished ,usually twice , and sealed for $50.00 plus it takes me 5-6 hours and my products are not cheep. So for anyone to even think to except a free
"DETAIL" totally does not have any idea what it takes to achieve one. Hence , why my family will not allow me to do it for free.;)

I just recently did a job for lunch it was an exterior only on a 2004 Infiniti. In addition, I gave him a new micro-fiber towel. I wouldn't let him touch his newly purchased car with his typical bath towel routine. He gets it now after he saw the results and now uses his micro-fiber towel only. Now I have a spokesperson and if detailing ever comes up in a conversation a referal.
