Detailing in parts - ok?

So if I wanted to get started on my detailing job during the week - is there any harm to doing a panel at a time during the week and finishing the job on the weekend?

In other words, I'd still be driving the car during the week, but when I get home from work I'll wash/clay/polish/wax one complete area before I call it a night, and then do the next panel the next day...so on and so forth until the weekend.

I don't see any major problem with it, but I think I would make one full protectant pass 24 hours or so *after* your last panel. This way you get one full coat of protectant applied all at the time same time, and will prevent the panels from looking different as the protectant wears off.

Thanks all...couldn't see why not either but figured I'd check. And yes, I'll do the full pass afterwards - consistency is key!

I do half my car then clean the pads etc. The next week I will do the other half of the car. The most important step is to first wash the car. I usually wash my car weekly so its not a lot of trouble for me to do the car in halves.
