First, I'd like to say that radeonboy (RFD) recommended this forum to me. A big thank you to him. :)

Now to the car, bought a '05 Pontiac Vibe recently. I need to give the car a thorough clean and want to maintain it. But, like all car there are some minor scratches etc.

First up, the wheel. How do I get rid of the rust?

Also the interior roof has some stains, forgot to take a pic of it. What products, methods would you suggest to tackle these things. Thanks a lot!

The rust you'll have to clean and paint.

The orange specs/spots you'll need a clay bar

The scratches you'll need a couple / few polishes and a polisher

The interior you're going to need a good all purpose cleaner, some fabric cleaner, and nothing much you can do with the gouges in the plastic.

Exact and quick answers. +1 to all that.

I'm JAGpilot from RFD. Welcome

I'd go and buy a Meguiar's Clay Kit from Canadian Tire and for the scratches your best getting a pro to do it as I doubt you want to buy a polisher/compounds. The seats can be cleaned using a fabric shampoo.

I hope you got a good deal for this car, it seems like it was not taken good care of. :doh

For the scratches in the plastic sand them down a bit and then recoat them with SEM vinyl/plastic dye. it's the exact same dye that GM uses so it'll be a perfect match. Outside of that everything else Danase said is the best advise.
