So I just bought a Flex with the MPT/Sonus pad set (Yellow, White, Blue, Red) and CG Scratch & Swirl Remover, CG Ultra Fine Final Polish, CG EZ-Creme Glaze, and Jetseal109.
My plan was to use each of those compounds with the pads in the order I listed each set. I decided to give this a shot on my spoiler. I have a few light scratches and a couple of moderate scratches that just catch my nail. After running through the aforementioned setup (high speed on the polishes, medium speed on the glaze and low-med for the sealant), the scratches are slightly dulled, but still present. Now I'm sure this is a technique thing and I was hoping to get your help. The overall look of the paint is definitely much more glossy and lustrous.
Things I'm unsure about:
1. Amount of compound to use for each step.
2. Length of time polishing each step.
3. Amount of pressure to apply with each type of compound.
4. Anything I may not be thinking about.
I have done some looking around, but can't seem to find enough info to put things together to answer my questions.
