I was over at my friends parking lot tonight when i noticed from the parking lot lights a haze and swirls all over my car sides, hood, trunk. So now i just have to fix it. I am thinking of using this method.

1. Dawn wash

2. Mothers Clay

3. MGC wash

4. Meguiar's#9 or SM2.0

5. Maguire GC wax or HTYW

6. Maguire’s Quick wax

I have read the swirl posts and other member’s steps and believe that for my budget right now. This will give the best result for low cost. If I need a step or should sub a product please chime in. I appricate any advice. Thank you

1. Forget the Dawn wash, it is a wasted step unless your car is extremely filthy or you are going to use Zainos.

2. Don't clay unless you need to. If the paint is smooth, claying would be another wasted step.

3. Either swirl remover is fine.

4. I'd use a glaze to further polish the paint and fill in any minor swirling that may be left.

5. Wax

Thanx for your reply scott i new i forgot a step. i will prolly use a Maguire’s polish. The paint is a bit rought and also the car is about 6 years old .
