Detailing effort ruined!!!

ABout a month ago I detailed the Taco: wash, clay, Klasse AIO, and three coats of the SG. The truck was looking sweet. Well the other day I came out of work and there was some dust all over my truck. nothing unusual, I work at a chemical plant and I get dust on it all the time. Yesterday I washed it, and when I was drying it I noticed that the towel did not glide over the paint like normal. I looked closer and noticed little tiny specs ALL OVER the paint and windows. YOu could feel them with your fingertips. I ended up having to re-clay the entire vehicle, including the windows, then I went over it with the AIO. Im going to put some SG back over it in the next few days.

Three vehicles and at least one is in need of something. Washed the GS last night, and found that it's going to need some work... again. Just finished the Miata last weekend, and my truck looks like hell because it's been sitting outide and the sprinklers been hitting it adding waterspots every day. I think I'm going to spray LineX on all three of them and call it a day...

Sounds like my endless cycle. I have to drive by a lime plant where the trucks, wind and train bring all the lime onto the road. Needless to say, its a pain after I have to go through there and its wet.
