Detailing Clay shoot-out on AutoExpress mag

Here's an interesting Clay test performed recently by Auto Express magazine in the UK. They obviously go by cleaning results rather than mildness. Perfect gauge before polishing.

The results for you lazy ones:

1. Bilt-Hamber Auto-Clay Soft

2. Sonüs SFX Detailing Clay

3. Zymöl Lehm-Klay

Last was Megs.

Nice to see our own Sonus brand coming second! As far as my experience goes, Megs deserves the last place for their patheticaly weak smeary clay.

Here's the links for the two PDF pages:

I glanced at the article, but found no mention of Clay Magic. I wonder where it would place on the list.

and i thought i was the only one who thought Meg's clay was weak .. but then again i only used the smooth surface kit one .. havent triend the PRO version

^^^ nope, I think that megs stuff is WAYYYYY over rated! the red "aggressive" couldnt remove what other "medium duty" clay stripped off with ease....need less to say, I will not be buying megs clay anymore unless I get a smokin deal on it!

IMHO, if Clay Magic blue doesn't clean it up, it's time to get out the sand paper. And you can't beat the price!

You wont see Clay Magic on the list b/c there is low market penetration in the UK, it only comes with a small bottle of lube so they would probably hate it for that reason alone!

I quite like Mothers yellow clay, soft effective, great to use in colder weather!

Can we get the Bilt Hamber here in the states? There are a few things of theirs that I would like to try.

I'm a user of Z18, so it's good to see they like it.
