Detailing a car this wknd, need advice!

I promised to detail my mother's Citroen AX GTi this weekend.

It hasnt been properly cleaned or polished etc in a while and is parked outside 24/7

My question is this - the car has unpainted plastic bumpers that are annoyingly 'textured' and out of these products - which should I use on the bumpers for a nice dark/wet/shiny look that will hopefully last a while:

Meguiars High Gloss Endurance.

Turtle wax extreme tyre gel

Turtle wax extreme tyre and plastic spray

Meguiars Natural spray shine

303 (dont really fancy using this as the bumpers are quite big)

Armor-all original protectant (normally only reserved for wheel wells!).

Also - there is a little overspray on one of the plastic bumpers. Not sure how to get this off plastic :nixweiss

This is a white car and I plan to:

clay,

#9,

AG Super Resin

S100 wax

I'll post some pics too, and hopefully I can get this white to look as good as some of yours :) :D

Thanks I was thinking about that stuff. Problem is - I'm on a budget at the moment and need to use up the products listed :)

still use the Autoglym Bumper shine on occaisions. Cheap + dead easy to get hold of. looks good as long as you buff it after applying it, lasts well and dirt is quite easy to get off afterwards. Good if on a budget. I use it for the parents cars also :)

Cheers.

You also have access to Einszett line of products and they carry a good range of products that could help you out. Both cleaning and protecting, and as you can buy them localy they aren't expensive.

I would try using the Meguiars on the plastic, also worth looking at Comma plastic cleaner, its cheap and is a lot better than I thought it would be.

This is something I can relate to. My collection is running very low, I have watered down the AG wheel cleaner, vinly, tyre cleaner just to try and keep things clean.

Post the before and afters pics

Cheers Steve I will be posting before and after pics :xyxthumbs

Hopefully the weather will be quite nice too this Sunday ;)

I cant really afford anything new at the moment because I bought a pair of those sheepskin mitts for £10 this week. They seem real plush and soft and I will give you the low-down on them as well as pics :)

I'll try the Meguiars Endurance on the bumpers and 303 on weather stripping/mirrors :up
