Detailers Pride & XMT 360

Something I keep seeing left out here that deserves mention is Detailers Pride and XMT 360. First Detailers Pride Sealant gives a great wet shine and durability that is super easy on and off. Their Tire Gel does not sling and last a decent amount of time and looks very wet. I also am found of their 3 step polishing system. I prefer it to Sonus as it seems to be easier on and off and works better with my style. I would even rate it better than the PB polishes, but PB’s Natty’s Blue I still love over Max Wax, but it is close. I would say price would determine that purchase cause it is so close.

Then you have XMT 360 that is my favorite one step. There is a drastic difference between hand and machine use, so use your PC with the Pad AG recommends at 4K.

Most people seem to avoid 360 due to all the fillers that it contains.

I've used DP Mild Swirl Eliminator and didn't think much of it. I've used plenty of other better polishes. Max Wax is definitely one of my favorite waxes and the tire gel is very good.

I've been happy with most of the DP products that I've used. The Auto Bath suxs but the tire gel, gel wheel cleaner, glass polish, Spray Sealant, Premium Sealant, Clay, Max Wax, Wheel Glaze, and Polishing Pad Rejuvinator are all great products. I also hear a lot of good things about the Xtreme Foam Formula Shampoo. One day I'd like to try it in my foam cannon.

I missed that XMT 360 had fillers. I will have to ask Max about that or re-read things. I know the cut was very low, but with a PC it goes on nice and looks great coming off, better than AIO IMO.

Im up to abount 6 layers of max wax right now, good stuff for sure. The DP polishes i didnt see on the site last time i looked, but they are ok i guess.

Also the Sealant's color has changed from when i first got it. I think mine is the same as WG's, now its blue, right? Either way its a nice sealant, similar to UPP, slickness drops off fast, beading is not great, but it does look very nice.

Z8 after AIO lasted longer then the wheel sealant though.

DP has never gottin my attention for what ever reason. I read on here some really liked there sealant. I do have a like DP MaxWax it really makes flakes pop.

DP definitely makes some good products. Most of what I've tried, I've liked. The shampoo and the polish never did anything for me.

DP Products that I've tried:

All Exterior Cleaner - Very versatile. One cleaner for multiple areas. Can be cut 1:1.

All Interior Cleaner - Can be cut 1:1. Smells good. Can be used on any interior surface including carpets and upholstery.

Interior Protectant - Smells good. Contains light cleaners. Leaves a nice non-greasy finish. Better than Meg's #40 IMO.

Max Wax - One of my all-time favorite paste waxes. A dream to apply and buff off. Great for metallic paint.

Tire Gel - Not the quickest tire dressing to apply but lasts for a long time and doesn't sling. Provides just the right amount of shine, IMO

Wheel Cleaner - Gentle enough for all wheels. Can also be used to clean tires.

4-n-1 - I prefer ONR. ONR is more concentrated so you use less than 4-n-1. Plus, ONR smells better, seems to clean a little better, and is environmentally friendly.

Mild Swirl Eliminator - Nothing to write home about. Dusted. Won a free 32oz. bottle of this stuff. Used it once and have no plans to use it again. Glad I didn't spend money on it.

Shampoo - Nothing special. Wouldn't buy again.

Surface Shield Paint Sealant - Easy on/off application. Smells good (lime). Unsure about durability. Good product. For $13, good bang for the buck.

*Disclaimer - I paid for all of the above products except MSE and 4-n-1. The two products I didn't pay for, I wouldn't spend money on. My review on these products is 100% un-solicited :spot
