Detailer Needed: Bay Area (close to San Jose)

I'm looking for a good professional detailer around the Bay Area (close to San Jose). I'm very particular about my car and I want the quality of work to be the same as the ones in the "click and brag" section. My brand new Black Lexus IS250 has quite a few fine scatches and minor swirl marks that needs to be removed. It has one coat of Ultima Paint Guard Plus sealant on it right now. It would be a plus if the detailer knows how to use Ultima Paint Guard Plus (he can use my bottle).
 
I'm from around the SJ area but I'm backed up for about a week or two. If you don't mind waiting I can help you out. There's only 2 from detailer from San Jose that I know, me and fdizzle.

Oh the one that i sent over to you? So what was the customers biggest concern for the car? I'd like to see that.
 
hey, it was water spots, but those were etched in so bad that I would have needed wool/ht-ec to get that out. I didn't want to compromise such a new clear coat to get it all out. Car came out great, those Porsche paints are a dream to work with.
 
I'll be setting up shop sometime in the next couple weeks as I just moved out here from VA and my detailing stuff is still in storage. Hopefully, I'll be back to doin jobs quite soon :)
 
By setting up shop, I mean working out of my garage, not opening up an actual shop ;) I actually work at the lab, but am still in temp housing until I find a place, which will hopefully be soon as I'm suffering from detailing withdrawals. BTW, my name's Jon.
 
So Jon (BuffMe) are you located in the city, or around San Jose? Its funny cause I'm John. But nice to meet you.:hifive:
 
I am in Livermore, actually, at the moment. I'm in an extended stay until I get a place.



No detailing tools and no detailing make Jon something something :wall

Well, I'll surely be open to helping people out, with discounted rates for 2 or more people from any of the forums I frequent. Maybe we can meet up sometime and exchange tips/ideas. I'm always down for shootin' the sh*t, especially over happy hour beers. :cool:
 
I hope so. Well on the 26th and 27th, I'll be in San Ramon helping my cousin move. He is gonna get me a room at the Marriot i think the 26th and my brother and their friends are going to the Winchester house the 27th. Happy hour brings Happy days.
 
Alright, well let's set something up. There is a place called rock house in livermore that has pint night on thursday nights. $2.50 for tons of pints on draft, to include IPA, Guinness, Gordon Biersh Marzen, Fat Tire, Anchor Steam, and also the regulars of Coors light, Bud light, etc. That's the place I usually frequent but I'm down for anything.
