Detailed Z3

Hey all.

Yesterday my girlfriends dad called me up and asked if i had time to detail his Z3. Im thinking.. "yea.... like im gonna turn you down. your my girlfriends father..."



I have a before and after photo, but there isnt much difference in the two because I just did a detail on it 3 weeks ago.



Here is what i did for him

1. Washed with GC.

2. Clayed with Mothers using Showtime as lube.

3. Waxed with P21s. This is a new Z3 so the paint is pretty much flawless so no need to polish.

4. Dressed tires with Armourall. (I was out of tire dressing at the time, need to pick some up today)

5. Vaccumed interior.

6. Cleaned leather seats with armourall for leather.

7. Dusted dash and wiped a small amount of armourall on it for the clean look.

8. Drove it around the block to "blow out any water in crevaces" Lol, i need to have a little fun with it before i give it back.

Nice! Looks like there is a smudge on the lens of your camera? look in the left side of your pics.... I like that car, It would look better in red though ;)
 
I think what you see is glare on the lens. It was overcast and bright.



It took me about 4 hours



They sell Armor All. But for leather protecting and cleaning. I made a quick stop at the store on my way to their house to pick up some suplies i was missing. and i only had enough $ for the armor all. I was going to get the Zymol 2 step stuff.. The cleaner and the conditioner.



Thanks for the compliments. He told me he wanted me to get some pictures and post them online on my website.



Those were the terms of him "letting Me" detail his car. LoL. He let me.. like, he just puts up with me detailing it weekly. I told him i got brand new wax. (p21s) and it is really good. He is like. "i GUESS you can test it out on my car.. if u REALLY want to..."

I hate the cold weather we've been having lately.:(

I've been itching so bad to wash the PT and try out the new BFII I just got.



At least the rain's held off, but (Murphy's Law) as soon as I wash my car, it will rain!!!:rolleyes:



Oh well!:p

yea. i forgot to mention the cold. It was about 40 degrees. Not as cold as most places. But enough to give u the chills in a wet tshirt and wet jeans.



My girlfriends mom. Being a mother forced me inside every hour to sit by the fire. LoL.



we judged when i was alowed to go back outside, by how warm my hands were. (which involved putting them against my girls lower back. Or neck. If she squealed they were too cold)



It got to the point where i wasnt even cold, i think it was the numbness setting in.

I do that for a good laugh once in a while. LoL. :shocked <- Her face



The p21s came off so easy. It was cool. Because the car is so small. No trouble reaching the top of the car. And i like the hard top, because it is so much easier than a rag top.



The only way i can desribe the way the p21s came off .. Is like... ok. i cant describe it. Lol
