Detailed: VW BUG

Tex Star Detail

Early, weekend detail for me.
Silver VW Bug. Not too bad of shape. Other than the paint being chipped to the max, it really had minor swirls. Though it needed to be clayed BAD. Some tar along the bottom in the side skirts.....

Process:
INTERIOR
Glass with Stoners
Vac and spot clean carpet with Folex.
Interior plastics with Megs APC 10:1

Enigine
Degreased with Simple Green 5:1
Dressed with Megs Hyper Dressing 2:1.....letset for 10 minutes and buff dry.

EXTERIOR
Wash with QEW
Clay with PB's Clay
SSR 1 via PC speed 6 with Blue EDGE pad.
Nattys Paste Wax (white)
Glass with Stoners
Tires, rims, and wells cleaned with Megs Wheel Brightener
Tires dressed with Purple Dressing (Car Brite)
Well dressed with Megs. Hyper dressing 3:1

Took about 3.5 hours.....Was rushing and sweating and sweating and a bit more sweating.......

I did her roomates Nissan Maxima last week. No pics...Didn't have my camera with me.....Nothing special though....:)

I hate the carpet in these things. Very short pile, but it holds everything in it, Kinda like a scotch brite pad.....LOL I had to break out a stiff bristle brush

Thanks....Yea, those things are tiny. Not too dirty either. Small stains on the carpet.....steak sauce, she said, on the console......LOL

Last Bug I did was in horrendous shape...Kudos to the comeback on this one...and a quick one at that :D.
