Detailed the Car this Weekend.....very impressed!!

Well I spent all day Saturday on my car washing and waxing in and out of rain. The weather was horrible but I had just gotten my Poorboy's in, so I had to use it. This is what I did....

Wash
Clay
Wash
SSR2.5
SSR1
PwC
RMG
EX-P
Natty's

It looked pretty good, deep, shiny and so forth. The only thing I noticed was that there were still swirls. I used SSR2.5 with a polishing pad so I guess I should have used a light cutting pad. So what do i need to do to use SSR2.5 with a cutting pad? Just wash, and go for it and re-do all of those polishes??

I was hugely impressed with the Wheel Sealant and Spray & Gloss + the Waffle Weave....Great!! :bigups

SSR2.5 with a polish pad will take out 90% of marring - unless it is too deep to be handled by a PC - going harder on your pad is not always a good idea and can introduce more haze which you then have to follow up with 2 or 1 to get back the shine...going higher on an abrasive can have the same effect and sometimes do more damage.

LOOKS FANTASTIC! Then again, I own an 03 Dark Shadow Gray Mach 1 with Team III Halibrands...

My favorite combo is WG + a coat of Souveran prior to a car show.

That thing must sound mean, 4.6 sounds good with pretty much any exhuast combination in my opinion. On my 5.0 i had borla cat back bbk off road h pipe and bbk long tube headers :) nothing sound better then a 5.0 and 4.6 especialy the 4 valve!
 
You got that right, I don't think that you can beat the sound of a 5.0!!

I don't know I have grown pretty partial to the sound of My exhaust. Its a MAC true fit Flow path cat back. Im currently contimplating installing an off road H pipe! But I am afraid that its going to be TOO loud. Its alrealdy very loud! And it sounds mean!

Maybe if I get a min I will make a recording of it!
 
Mac exhaust set up is the best!!!!! In the next few years i will be in the market for a saleen mustang and if i go with a 5.0 sn 95 saleen i am definetly goin with a mac cat back and Mac pro chamber h pipe! You will not regret getting the h pipe, belive me.
