Detailed the boat today

Brought out the PC and went to work on the boat. This boat is a 1976 model and the paint job was put on in 1983. It's never seen the garage and has been stored outside since 1978. It does have some flaws in the paint from age and use, but not looking to shabby for all these years. The pictures don't do it justice, as the candy colors and pearlescence really jumps out when the sun shines.

DACP with the PC, followed by Meguiars 81 and then waxed with NXT. Finished off with a coat of S100.

What brand boat?

Jet or propeller?

Looks good! :D

Thanks.

It's a 1976 Tahiti with a 460 Ford and berkley pump. It's a little old and tired now, but it still looks pretty decent. I'll be restoring it this winter with a fresh interior and an engine spruce up. Trailer needs painting also. Don't get much of a chance to use it anymore.:(

Cool, I had a Sanger with a 454. Black and silver.

Sounded bad, but only topped out about 75.

My dad used to race jet boats for a few years, back when Eddie Hill did.

I want another but we are close to the gulf, and not freshwater. That and the whole job thing get in the way. ;)
