This morning I started on my dads car to get him ready for the show. Interior is flawless and he just did a small about of dressing things up. I think it turned out good but I think it could have looked better. Maybe because he chose P21S instead of Natty's? Not sure but couldn't convince him to use Natty's this time. Maybe in a couple weeks when I do it again for another show.

Process:

Wash with Adams Car Wash
Already clayed
SSR Steps
PwC With White Polishing Pad
P21S x 3 By hand with m/f app. using the spit shinning method
EX-P x 1 With Finishing Pad

Glass:
S&W followed by IG, followed by S&G

Wheels,Wheel Wells, Tires:

Wheels polished with PwC and a foam app.
Sealed with PB's Wheel Sealant
Tires, and Wheel Wells dressed with VRT

Interior Vinyl and Rubber dressed with VRT as well. Need to get some 4 * Leahter products to take care of them for him.

The SSR1 didn't remove any scratches so I went with SSR1 with the orange pad. Also didn't remove any scratches. I then got out the SSR2.5 with a polishing pad. Didn't work so I went with the SSR2.5/Orange pad, and still no luck. I applied about a quarter size amount to the pad, rubed it in on the pad a little bit and went at it with the PC @ Speed 4, after I spreaded it out and gave it time to break down I turned it up to 6 using left to right motions, up and down, and even diagonal motions with the PC at about 10 passes in each section. Even used a figure right type patter. No luck. Maybe I need to get the yellow pad to get things done or a rotary. Just not working out.

Over all, I was happy enough to say done but I don't think I will be trying this combo out again ok his car. Maybe another white car will look different but it just wasn't what I was looking forward to.

Thanks. He has invested a good amount of money into it. Wish he would do that for me... lol. He is going to be selling it after this year. He is wanting to customize a Chrysler 300. He asked me today what I thought would be a great color to get. I told him to try and avoid black but I said if you get black and we take care of it and use the right products it will look awesome.

The 300 would be great love the chop top effect, I personally like the red that they have out, not really red, red, but you know what I mean.....I saw one the other day with ghost flames that was really cool

Ya I'm excited myself for him to get the 300. One mod he let me know he will be getting is the rolls royce grill. Now I think that will be tuff. Ya red is my favorite color. He wants a pearl white. I thought they made a 300 that was pearl white didn't they?

I've seen some here with after market grill but never up close they do look allot better........Not sure on the peral white but that would be nice but I'm a darker color guy myself

I would have to agree. If I would have known a little of the little I know now about detailing I would have went with a darker color myself.

WOW .. thats your dads car? He knows how to roll. LOoks like you got a great wetness on the very light color. Great JOb!!

Greg

Thanks Greg. It did have a nice wet look to it. I wasn't able to get any of the surface scratches out once again. On his car this time. I am thinking of buying a makita if the yellow cutting pad from LC doesn't kick it next time. Just think I can get better results alot quicker. The polishes, sealants and waxes will be still be does by hand or PC though.
