Ok, know up front that the front and rear bumpers and the hood had no treatment. They all need to be repainted. Anyway, on to the work!

Wash: Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo, Some cheap chenille mit that sheds way too much.

Paint Treatment: Clayed with Mother's Gold Clay and Showtime QD.

Compound with Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover

Polish with Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish

Wax/Sealed with Poorboy's EX Sealant with Carnauba

Tires - Advance Auto Parts Tire Wet Stuff

Interior to be done at a later date. ON WITH THE PICS!!!!!!

all the brown you see on this wheel is rust from worn out brakes.

To clean this wheel, I used WD-40, Red Scotch Brite Pad, and 0000 Steel Wool. It's not perfect yet, and could use some AIO waxing on it.

Here's a side by side shot of some work. This was during the ASR (1st) step after claying.

I didn't realize how bad the paint was.

The white marks on the rockers are gouges from the previous owner's blowout.....not much I could do about them.

yeah, the hood was still in primer when i bought it......and will remain that way after i turn it in tomorrow!!!! I just bought a 2000 Explorer Eddie Bauer (Red/Tan) with 59k. So i'll be posting up a new thread when I work on it.

and thanks for all of the compliments, I wasn't sure how well this would turn out. I've gotten so many compliments on the car since I did this.
