Im having trouble finding a detail Spray that can add to the gloss and wet finish look. I have found what I am looking for but it is not sold in the USA. Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations ? I did search here and wasn`t able to find anything. I thank you in advance for any help :)

Griots Speedshine is a great quick detailer leaves paint glossy and slick. I hear elixir from carpros is nice and someone will be along soon to tell you about beadmaker. Big consensus is that it leaves great gloss, unmatched slickness with subpar hydrophobics.

What I use now is my favorite, a “elixir” mix of 3oz of carpros Ech20 (waterless wash concentrate) with 2oz of Shine Supply Clutch (silica sealant). Put in 32oz bottle and fill the rest with distilled water. Great gloss and feel, 2to3 weeks durability but I use weekly.

You might want to check out a similar and recent thread on wax/sealant sprays:
https://www.autopia.org/forums/car-...ussion/190491-2019-otc-spray-wax-sealant.html

There is a "grey area" of what is a detail spray and what is a wax/sealant spray, although what it states on the spray bottle is pretty self-evident.

Then I started this thread about drying aid sprays after a vehicle wash. That was the start of this "grey area":

Seems like you`ve gotten some recommendations for some great products, but no one has really asked what is important to you in a detail spray. If you are truely after gloss and wet look and don`t care about its cleaning ability, water spot removal, and protection against scratching, you should look for a good spray wax/sealant.

Jax Wax body shine mixed 50/50 with Sonax BSD. Unreal gloss and protection. Best of both worlds

What product did you find that is not sold in the USA and have you already tried it?

Why not order it if you know its what you really want?

I am a fan of a few different QD products and IMO its all subjective. I would be looking for a real Nuba based product if you want that wet gloss of a just waxed look.

One might be surprised how reasonable (relatively) shipping from a place like Ultimate Finish in the UK is. I`ve had a few things sent over and it`s around $15 (unless buying something heavy) and order Thursday, at my door Monday.

TroyScherer it is called Bouncers Done and Dusted SI edition. When looking for it I was not able to find any place that was selling it to anyone in USA.

Am I correct that you have used this before? If you already sourced it why not order more?

I am also a little surprised since this is an Si02 spray. And the description and directions read just like most other Si02 sealants. Its not really a QD other than you can use it while drying. especially when it has a 2hr cure time. In that case look at CarPro Reload, Gyeon Cure, etc....

I`m a big fan of Duragloss Aquawax. Great gloss and fairly long lasting. Spray on, wipe off. I get mine locally through NAPA.

Great stuff, when you run out, you might want to try #931 @QD ratio, its like AW on sterroids.

Angelwax QED is my favorite for a standard QD. If you want to have a little coating look but still in the nuba look and not the crispy sharp looks Angelwax Enigma QED is a great one too. The longevity is good at 1-2 months from the QED and 3 months from Enigma QED.
