Detail of Red Celica Conv.

Friday I detailed a red Celica convertible and finished it up Saturday Morning. It was cleaned inside, engine and outside. The interior was extracted and dressed. The single stage exterior wasn't that bad only minor swirls but, the hood was a repaint and had clear on it. The paint had deep scrathces that I decided not to remove, except for the hood, because the owner is selling it this summer.

I wonder how much the owner could get for the car in its current condition???

I used a 2 step plus wax.
1. Intensive Polish
2. Glaze- I use a product called "The Sh*t that is made for me by a friend.
3. Wax- Collinite

The hood was compounded using some white mystery synthetic product. I was told that it works great on clearcoats. Other than that alot of elbow grease for the spots I couldn't buff and some Turtle wax paste rubbing compound. The SS exhaust tip was polished using those "yellow polish impregnated strips in a can" followed by No. 7 Chrome Polish.
