I saw a thread about removing hard water.Everybody talks about buffing etc.Well i was trained 24 years ago to use hydroflouric acid and remove hard water in seconds not hours.Readily available at janitor supply stores or any industrial auto supply as carbrite, auto magic etc.(Cheaper at janitor supply.Simply spray on cool surface let dwell and rinse and hard water is gone.Have to be careful on glass and rinse well but it works well and quickly. If hard water has etched surface that is another beast but nine out of ten that i have seen are not etched and i have done thousands Detail man inc st augustine mobile detailing service 23 years exp.
