I was wondering if anyone on here has used any products from detail king? Iam looking to place an order and was wondering what products are good and whats not. Iam looking for some all purpose cleaner , tire dressing, leather cleaner cond,glass cleaner , etc. Iam just looking for chemicals not any wax or polish.
 
We used some of there stuff for awhile. I feel they can do the job, but there are other products out there that have the same result or better and will cost less. From what you listed:



APC: Megs, Amazing Roll-off are good ones and the Meguires should be found over the counter.



Tire Dressing: Depends on what you want the final product to look like, matte, high sheen?



Leather cleaner: Lexol is what we are using and are having good results with it. It is also an over the counter product.



glass cleaner: Stoner Invisiglass. Love it, and it can also be found OTC.

Detail King is way overpriced on everything from their products to their detailing supplies. I purchased a sample kit from them, which comes with an assortment of wax, polishes, sealant and various dressings and cleaners. I have not tried anywhere near all of them, but I can say that I was very disappointed with their Cherry Wet Wax and 3000 sealant. I tried them both out on a black car and they both left crazy amounts of residue and was extremely hard to buff off. I will never use those again. Some of their cleaners work alright, but their tire dressing has that thick silicone consistency that I don't care for and their car wash shampoo is nothing compared to NXT. The only product that I would probably purchase would be the bug off cleaner.
 
I have tried some of their wax and sealant products, but have ventured on to better things. One product I still purchase is their new tire dressing...Bling Tire Dressing. Its a water and silicone base product and it does work great. Its a spray on product and does not sling off and looks very wet, even when it dries. Its smells like Juicy Fruit gum.



I Second the Bub Off cleaner.
 
Has anyone purchased their Marketing 3 CD set (Logo Development & Business Card Design , Detailers Forms, Checklists, & Invoice , Service Menu Brochure CD or Professional Car Detailing Flyer on CD ?
 
Correction products, nope. But everything else (Tornador and supplies, interior dressing, APC, tire dressing, etc) we solely buy from Detail King. Excellent value if you're buying bulk, and their shipping is very reasonable.
